The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from San Salvador: San Salvador (#2) and Salvadorenos (#5). Salvadorenos were crushed at home by 27 points 56-83 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. San Salvador made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Salvadorenos turnovers. San Salvador looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Salvadorenos' players. The best player for the winners was who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds. chipped in 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Erick Rodriguez produced 10 points and 7 assists for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. San Salvador (12-2) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place having just one point less than leader Metapan. Another exciting game was played in Cojutepeque between seventh ranked Independiente and 4th placed Cojute where Independiente (7-6) won against Cojute (8-6) on the road 75-64. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Cojute. American forward Noryen Lasley (201, college: Ave Maria) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds. Lincoln Smith contributed with 24 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 11 steals for the winners. Venezuelan guard Maximillion Bell (198-1999, college: Lane) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for Cojute. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Independiente. They moved-up to fifth place. Cojute at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Independiente will play against league's leader Metapan on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cojute will have a break next round.

Santa Ana moved-up to sixth place. Brujos lost their thirteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost. Santa Ana will meet higher ranked A.Lobos (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Brujos will play against Ahuachapan (#9) and hope to get finally their first victory.
